Mr. Salah Al Maousherji a well-known entrepreneur who has completed his education in USA and holds a BS degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University in Massachusetts and an MBA in Business Planning from Columbia University, New York.
With over 35 years of investment banking experience, Mr. Al Maousherji began his career with Kuwait Investment Co. (KIC) in 1978 and since then have held several key positions, managing substantial assets of both public institutions and private organizations. Other than being the CEO of Al Maousherji Group he is also the co-founder of the Al Maousherji Catering Company (a sole franchise dealer for McDonalds Kuwait).
Mr. Al Maousherji has also worked with Kuwait Real Estate Investment Consortium as general manager of planning and evaluations, as well as set up First Venture Inc. (USA) providing funding for emerging hi-tech companies. Founder and President of the Wafra Investment Advisory Group, Mr. Al Maousherji became General Manager at the Kuwait Investment Office and later took charge of its investments in Spain through Grupo Torras. After a spell with Capital Union Investment Bank, based in Bahrain and Dubai, Mr. Al Maousherji returned to Kuwait as Vice Chairman of the Kuwait Computer Company (Hasibat), the first IT Company to be traded on the Kuwait Stock Market.
